Meet Angelo Amabile

Born and educated in Italy, Angelo Amabile survived the hunger
and hardship of World War II, endured years under a Communist
regime, and spent time in a Communist-run orphanage before
escaping across the Iron Curtain at 18.

In 1953, he immigrated to the United States. He later served with the U.S.
Army in Germany, where he met Lilli, the love of his life.

After leaving the Army, Angelo entered the business world and built a
successful career, eventually becoming a multimillionaire—before losing it
all.

Through financial ruin, illness and despair, he found the strength to begin
again.
